haha high high high!!!! how i wish i am in the Dreams Concert!!!!! hahaha... my favourite member of Super Junior, Kyuhyun (the first who start singing) sings sooooo well in CONCERT!!!!! powerful singing.. woah woah.. and he is sooooo energetic and high!~~ hahaha.. so touched to see him recovered from accident.. woah woah.. it was a busy weekend last 2 days.. some updates..
Saturday:
Peixin's wedding~
haha.. long awaited wedding.. we almost cant make it cuz my mama's stomach ache and vomit on friday night. dot.. but think if we dont go, aunt meijin (my mom's gd friend cum peixin's mom) will not rao le us.. haha dot.. hmmm.. had been going to peixin's blog often recently, sharing her happiness along with her countdown of days to her important day.. haha.. she's really soooOOOO happy and xingfu on the day.. haha.. her smile remains throughout the 50+ tables without showing any uncomfort.. haha.. believe me, i'm sure she smiles from deep of her heart.. haha.. i'm sure she will always be a blessed woman under her husband's love and concern.. haha..

"You dont mess with Zohan"
watched "you don't mess with zohan" with him.. it is seriously a hilarious show lah. but if u are those kind that cant stand dirty jokes or get offended easily, i dont think u shld go and watch it.. cuz throughout the show it's full of dirty jokes and stuffs.. but it is really a special way in bringing out the wars that is going on among US and middle east countries.. the pakistan (issit???) lady whom Zohan likes in the show is PRETTY.. seriously haha..
Xinyi's MacDonald's Birthday Party!
yea.. attended xinyi's birthday party yesterday!!!! hahaha.. it is my first time to mac party~~ haha.. and i think the mac ppl find it so weird to face such big group of BIGGGG kids den they dunno how to change the way they shld treat us.. haha.. they really go "Boys and Girls, can all of u go back to your seats?? the party is starting soon~" hahaha it is really funny when i just heard it because i cant rmb when was the last time when i was catagorised under "boys and girls".. haha but seriously at the party, being treated as kids.. it is really a great time for us to relax and all.. faraway from those complicated stuffs.. play with balloons, party hats like we are really 5 years old.. isnt that great????? hahaha...

Saturday (14/6): Lo2 "gathering"?
yea it was planned to be a gathering.. but it turned out to be like just meeting friends.. 4 ppl only: yilong jiang niu and i.. thanks alot..
niu and i went down to city hall after our OT.. den started our shopping spree.. haha.. i spend almost $150 within half an hour after we reached there.. yea? cuz i've planned what i want to buy.. and i happened to see a Guess wallet that i like!! wahahha
den we shopped until 4+pm.. near 5??? not sure.. so proceed to Seoul Garden for our dinner~ woah haha... very long didnt eat le.. not bad... eat and chatted for very long haha.. like such gatherings.. heehee...
Sunday (15/6) Family Day!!
haha yea.. ytd my family all went haywired.. haha.. early in the morning.. tiah cherng yew (younger bro) proposed to go bowling after breakfast.. ahha.. so tiah cherng yew and tiah jye chen put their smelly socks into my bag and happily go for breakfast..
den at breakfast place.. saw a stall selling durians.. so dad say since so long didnt eat durian so go and buy.. den in the end we bought dunno what HIGH class durian tt cost $15/kg.. THANKS!! in the end spent $60 early in the morning..
den we 3 siblings went on to bowling at SuperBowl.. haha.. tiah cherng yew say there cheap.. bluff me! in the end we played 5 games each.. $60+!!!! ah~ irritating.. but not i pay lah haha... some photos of TCY and TJC's ying zi

haha den in the night.. i treated my family to CRAB feast for the first time!!!!! haha.. also as a father's day treat lah~ haha.. see i so good.. but didnt take photos.. cuz we are tooo HUNGRY when the food is finally served!! haha.. but the crabs there are really GOOD~!!! haha.. *thumbs up* ahha...
okay lah.. my last 2 weeks in 6 Drunk Men.. haha.. today come a new temp.. hoping tmr she rmb what i taught her today lah~ haha..

hmmm some updates...
my application of my MOE teaching award.. okay.. i've got rejected by them.. REJECTED!!! haix... feel quite disappointed.. i'm thinking whether it's because i prefer FASS to NTU's Chinese.. and i emailed to ask.. the person who replied me did not answer my question.. and told me i can apply again when the application starts in Jan 2009.. dot.. i dont want le loh..
hmmm but seriously i feel very disappointed.. it is my 2nd rejection letter from MOE in 6 months i think? the first one was when i applied for Teaching Internship in december.. the second one of course is this.. but.. haix.. nvm.. maybe i dont suit teaching.. or what?i also dunno..
yea i feel very upset.. and someone (some hundan!!!) made me even more upset and make me cry!!!!!! sad.. shall remember it forever!!! HUN DAN!!!! (>.<)
about work.. i'm only left with other 10 more days in 6 Drunk Men.. haha.. so fast right????? i think i will miss all of them lah.. (except some super stingy couple).. haha!!!!! but definitely i will miss chatting with sherry, telling marissa how "fast" and "clever" i am, dhalia free transport trip and sharing of her experiences, interrupting jaya to convert sales order to invoices, interrupting Muiling when i really dunno where to look for that $6000 difference when doing Recouncilation.. Michelle's jokes and laughter.. Salespeople.. and many many things lah.. haha..
next week there will be a new temp staff coming.. wondering who is she... and HOPE THAT THAT STINGY WOMAN WONT LET THE 3 OF US SQUEEZE IN ONE TABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL GO CRAZY I TELL U!!!!!!!! WHOLE COMPANY NO EXTRA TABLE????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? CRAZY!!!!! ARGH~
ok la.. tmr L02 gathering.. but the number of ppl turning up is abit disappointing.. haha.. nvm ba.. just meet up with friends... hope in future will have a better gathering~~~~ =)

MOE Teaching Award

these 2 days have been busy with MOE Teaching Award thing
Yesterday:
went down to MOE HQ at buona vista in the afternoon for interview.. my first official interview for my life i think.. 4 interviewers.. den i keep getting SHOTs by one man whom i say his name tag saying sth abt "Psychometric" thing one.. he is the one who acts as the "black face man".. which most of us shld encounter for every interview or oral.. the first time i get shot goes this way..
Interviewer: read any of the 四大名著 (i.e. 《红楼梦》，《三国演义》，《西游记》，《水浒传》）
Me: i didnt.. but i intended to do so..
Interviewer: why didnt u read any?
Me: when i was in pri sch, i was too young to think of reading this literature works. When i was in secondary school, my friends around me do not have such great passion towards this work too.. it is until JC when i start to learn literature then i have the thought of reading it..
Interviewer: i thought u mentioned that ur secondary school, nanhua sec/high sch, has given u much exposure towards chinese? (because i mentioned abt it in the earlier part of the interview)
Me: yes the school did give me alot of exposure towards chinese language and culture, but not towards literature.. at least in my year, we do not have chinese literature as one of our subject choices and i think it is a waste to me as i am only able to get in touch with chinese literature in JC..
phew* it comes to an end
but it isnt the end!!!!!!!!!! this interview i am required to use both english and mandarin to answer! i'm in the interview for around 20+mins.. there is around 10 minutes when i am questioned by a chinese lady.. she is nice.. but her qns require much thinkings too.. and i got shoot by the male interviewer again towards the end of the interview
Female interviewer: 中国和台湾都是以中文为母语/主语。如果你有机会到中国或台湾深造，你有否信心能够超越这些学生？
Me: 我有
Female interviewer: 你怎么那么确定？
Me: 我认为我的华文基础不错。
Male interviewer: 你怎么知道你的基础不错？
Me: 我能够以标准的华语沟通，我能够写出好的文章，无论是记叙文或议论文，我都能写得不错
Male interviewer: 你怎么知道你的文章写得不错？
Me: *stunned for few seconds* *回过神* 老师对我的作文评价不错。老师也曾经选出我的作文在课堂上分享，编辑入文集内。我也是中文出版学会的编辑组组长。既然老师让我胜任这个职位，想必他们也对我的文笔有不错的认可和肯定。
omg.. i'm really stunned! cuz the male interviewer really shoot me back lah.. so scary... but i try to be as confident as i can.. i dunno what i've said is totally true or not.. but i really tried my best to show them the confident me... oh my oh my............
Today：
I receive call from MOE early in the morning.. the person ask me if i receive any offers from NTU.. i say yes.. but i have already accepted FASS.. den the person ask me to call NTU to ask if is there any ways for me to get their offer again.. with ???? in my head.. i called to ask.. i only have to write in an email.. so the MOE person ask me to write in an email immediately!! den i was like "HUH???? i dont want to go NTU's chinese! i prefer FASS?!! does it matter where do i go??? and does it affect my application for award???".. den the person was saying since that i am not keen of getting NTU's chinese.. they will not force me and the office is now discussing abt what to do.. but the thing is that i am not NOT KEEN to get into NTU's chinese.. i'm fine with it.. but i prefer NUS FASS!!! i see better recognition and future through FASS.. ya i'm tempted by NTU's 4 years direct Honours course.. but i can also get it if i go FASS with an award since the award criteria requires me to maintain my CAPS at at least 3.5!! and furthermore.. FASS separates chinese studiest (literature) and chinese language.. and i am sure that i can do much better with chinese language!!!! tt's why i'm discouraged by NTU's joint programme
PRAY HARD........... i hope that they can give me the award and let me go FASS!!!!!! if not.. i really dunno what to do??? 2 options if they do not........
1) Take the award, go to NTU's Chinese.
2) Give up on the award, go to NUS's FASS..
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how how how....????
hmmmm but my dad was saying.. i shld also be happy that they actually considered me for the award so soon after ytd's interview.. this means that i've passed that interview!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at least sth to be happier about........ =) wahhahaha
