haha..!! yippie!!! i've won Cassis's room's lifetime membership via doing a poll on their facebook.. heehee.. I think it is my first time winning lucky-draw kind of thing.. haha.. makes me more tempted to get more bags...

I need to say goodbye to my favourite bag that i bought in J2 which accompanied me to Taiwan, Japan & Korea for these three years... It is a bag that i feel most comfortable & secure with.. it is big, the length is very nice.. the compartments are nice, at good place & good shape.. the whole thing is very secure that i know it wont break off anytime i'm overseas.. but.. sad.. it becomes old & its "skin" start dropping off... sad... i need to see it off soon~~~

den some other normal bags start to sag (?) though i make it a point to change among them... but.. haix... seriously bags are so oftenly used that it really aged & spoilt almost every few months de feel... ahhh~~~~~~ okay.. i'm very rough with my things.. haha!

I'm thinking of getting a sling bag & a bagpack.. especially if i'm REALLY going china.. crumpler????? but it can only be either sling or bagpack.. i really like my favourite bag for it to be able to shoulder carry & sling it SUPER comfortably.. become it is secure & the length is really good.. u see???? i used to have this nike bag but the base it sooooo hard & big that it is very uncomfortable to be sling.... and crumpler is damn expensive.. haha!!!!!! no money!!!

It was Liyi's 21st Birthday Traffic Light party last saturday. I'm soooo happy that it goes smoothly haha. Though i was really very tired after everything. HAHA... but everything is worthwhile, as long as my bitchy best friend enjoys it.

And today is Liyi's official 21st birthday!! haha.. Surprised her with my secret appearance at Shangri La Hotel this afternoon. haha. She really B*T*H eh... (oppps..) haha.. she didnt da bao any food for me from her atas buffet.. and keep telling me how full she was when i rushed down to surprise her with my empty stomach... see..... she still call me B*T*H... I'm the best loh! haha...

Liyi is such a pure and innocent friend of mine. She's just like a plain white paper. Whatever is written on it, you will see it. Nothing to hide, nothing that she's going to hurt you with. Haha. That is also why she can always scold xinyi and I b*t*h without hesitating haha!!!! but.. of course we know you dont mean the bad way~ haha.. if not... why will i go surprise u! wahaha...

have been meeting up with xinyi for 3 days in the past week. haha.. for obvious reason: for our BIG BIG liyi's birthday!!!!Seriously, I do hope that xinyi and i can make a real memorable party for liyi. With least budget creating the greatest party ever..

Spent the whole afternoon in bugis area for liyi's party. Haha! I'm satisfied with the present that we got for liyi.. Guarantee + Chop, Liyi will love it to core.. and also LOVE us too! haha... (zhen liyi... if u happen to be reading this, DO NOD YOUR HEAD THAT U LOVE US!).. haha okay??????

hmmm... agree with xinyi totally... 4/7 is really the most ON class that we ever have... u can see from liyi's birthday party.. Really thank ALL for making everything easier for xinyi and I.. Hope that everyone will enjoy themselves on that night.. YAY...

HEY! after your mid term test, u can sit in lecture hall happily dozing off eh! but we are attending lecture and rushing to and fro printing room/library every now and then.. Oh my goodness.. I am really feeling TOUCHED right now...

a sense of satisfactory，成就感 after almost 2 years, since i ended my relief teaching in 2008.
there's this student, who almost decide to drop to Chinese B last year, around this period. because his chinese was really not ideal.. but.. Chinese B, is that really necessary? so.. i actually gave my advice saying he should continue his express chinese.. okay, be frank, i'm not 100% confident that it is the best thing for him.. but still, I believe he has the ability to excel if he puts his heart into it..

and now... he got a B4!!!! from E8, he got B4.. haha.. it may not be the best grade, but still that is a great improvement

hmmm nowadays keep looking at those schooling children in jurong point.. thinking, there are really much changes lahhh.. or maybe i'm now looking at them as outsiders??? I will keep thinking: how can this boy/girl go to school w/o being caught by his DM??? for hairstyles, for ankle socks (ok, now maybe many schools are accepting ankle socks), for eyeholes (for boys and girls!) etc etc....

seriously, schools nowadays are much more liberal than days in the past eh.. like what i just said, many schools are accepting ankle socks, many school uniforms are changing from tuck-in to legalised-tuck-out styles..

thinking back to my days (or maybe MY school)... from short hair to plaited hair (that was really a welcomed policy in my schooL~~).... haha.. sad life hor?

few days ago... when i was in Jurong point, buying body shops from the booths selling lehlong sample size products... there's a student throwing down a plate of macdonalds' chilling sauce from the 2nd storey, landing just beside jiangbin lah~~ really omg.. after awhile, he threw one more thing after a bodyshop salesgirl shouted up to scold him.. and alarmed a security guard to come over.....

that security guard was really funny, he used walkie talkie to inform other colleagues and told them it's from 3rd storey... den when jiang and i walk up to 3rd storey to shop, we still see many security guards looking around there, where they think they are at the 案发现场... really super funny..

suddenly jiang saw a sec sch boy at 2nd storey... holding a cup out of the railing.. and she saw him dropping it down to the booths below!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so, we both went to approach the guards there and point to the boy, who pretends that nth happened and continue walking into kiddy palace.....

what happened after that... we dont know????????????????

what is that boy thinking at that time??????????????????? did any person do sth nasty to him???? or is he just being bored???????????????? if he is bored, please go home and bring out his textbook to read.....

it's already 6th of January.. and i've not update this year..

hmmm 2009.. a more peaceful and boring year... my memories are mainly filled with study only haha... pardon my tiny little lousy brain... here are many some major events that took place in 2009:

1) I got my driving license!
2) Korea!!!
3) More and More K box
4) More and More Super Junior!!!
5) I finally block my high forehead!!!!! (i.e. i cut my fringe!!!)
6) I'm single for 1 year...

things to look forward in 2010...
1) Exchange to Zhejiang University in Year 3 Sem 1!!!! (i hope nothing goes wrong??)
2) I'm turning 21 years old~~~~~~~~~~~~ (but no party i think... since going exchange)

i was watching 娱乐百分百 on super junior M so happy from 1700HRS to 1800HRS.. decide to take a look on internets.. looks for my daily diets on super junior's news... good/bad, funny/so-so, kyuhyun/other members... but today..... haix....................... hangeng/hankyung's news really make my mood drop drastically..

haix.. their contracts were really very inhumane.. by the time they end their contract, they are already in their 30s, and at that time, will SM continue to invest on them? look at their trends now, from dbsk or super junior to snsd, to shinee.. the age range is getting smaller and smaller... when they become handsome/charming 30+ years old ajjusshi, where can they go to? that was obviously a way to make sure they cant earn as much after leaving SM..

okay.. that's bad...

even my kyuhyun blogged a sentence on his CYworld, ~~even a beast don’t bite the hand that feeds one..I can not understand~~ and kena bombard... no one knows who is he referring to... issit to hankyung? or to SM? or neither? but.. that was definitely not a good time to type that sentence right now.. haix

have been following 家好月圆 since it starts on SCV haha.. i know i'm slow.. but.. okay.. i also dunno why i prefer watching on television rather than on dvd or computer... haha weird me.... i'm simply lazy to get it and play it on dvd player anyway =xx

hmmm seriously i find it not as good as 溏心风暴.. i think it is due to the script.. 家好月圆 has too many different individual stories that they have to focus on.. so.. bit dispersed i think.. haha.. unlike 溏心风暴, where the individual stories arent too overwhelming but yet serves a 画龙点睛 de purpose.. haha.. agree??????

have been to BBDC for driving for consecutive 2 days... haha...

yesterday... with a regular instructor, whom jiang and i named him as "take cane de" (cuz he often takes a "cane" around).. haha.. with him.. i can encounter all kinds of obstacles.. and super stressed whenever i'm with him de.. haha.. i can mount curb, strike pole, change wrong gear, meet lots of construction works... blablabla.. and i could only go to 1 test route (by right each session should have enough time for 2 test routes) haha.. so ytd, before i end my driving session, he told me "truthfully, ur driving still cannot make it".. SO SAD

today... met a new instructor.. a super young one, which i'm thinking is he younger than me? DOT.. haha... den... today.. parking, courses, slope, etc etc, dou no problem lah!! go out... also no problem! and went 2 test routes, did circuit 3 times... and still left alot of time.. and his comment is "ur driving no problem la.. test should be ok"...

haha.. went to comex show today haha.. and got a canon laser 3-in-1 printer haha.. happy!!! laser.. print fast.. wahah! and most important feature that i decide to buy it is because it can print double side!!!!!! YAY! no more trouble in printing notes and readings le YAY!

den... went to do manicure (left my printer at the comex show).. so long didnt do le.. decide to do so because my cuticles are getting more and more irritating!! haha.. and chose a nude colour.. i love it!!! haha... have been searching for such colours.. but stupid me, didnt ask what is the name of the colour... cant buy from spree... ARGHHHHHH

i find my eyes not proportional when i put eyeliner.. i think i used the wrong way to put eyeliner.. because my 2 eyelids are not identical (one thicker, another thinner).. just putting mascara seems nicer sometimes to me.. how?

my eyelashes are not growing identically EITHER?! one side is very neat and curl.. another side is messy with some curl and some straight...

conclusion: my 2 eyes are weird.. weird eyes on weird person (i.e. ME!!!)

my handwriting (esp for chi) is getting worst.. though i'm writing much more chinese in uni right now.. i think cuz we have to rush to write as fast as i can.. so.. no time to maintain nice handwriting anymore.. i miss using gao zhi to write compo! arghhhhhh

i cannot use a ball point pen~ haha.. the latest ball point pen that i tried died out after i used for 1 day..

today, when i was waiting for jiang at science faculty after my lecture, I encounter this weird person..
female, in her 20s, i'm not sure if she's a NUS student but she's around our age..

it happened this way..
i was sitting at a bench waiting, den suddenly she jumped out from the table infront of me and turn to me and ask me to help her.. she wanted to borrow my hp to call her friend urgently.. at that point of time, i didnt think much, but i just didnt dare to just pass her my hp, just in case she ran off with my phone or whatever de..

so i asked her what number did she want to dial, and i dialled for her and listened if it got through.. but.. the first 2 numbers she gave me, the phone was turned off???? den... the 3rd number.. when i dial, there was silence for a long while, and suddenly a long loud "duuuuuuu", and a guy picked up! so i passed my phone to her.. to my HORROR, she said "omg u mean u are off station in CHINA now??" omg.. means i actually let her called OVERSEAS?! (ok.. my parents say i dont have to pay extra charge when i told them.. *phew*) and that guy ended the call without bothering abt her.. haha... den she asked me to call a church, she looked for 2 sisters but one wasn't around, another was on call.. lol.. i was worried she want to stay beside me to call back later.. omg...

but she's very weird.. she looks very........... okay.. directly is dirty... argh~ maybe i cant tahan people looking very 邋遢.. her hair is long (bit shorter than me) but very oily with dandruff.. she wears clothes that are of those pyjamas-soft-kind-material, with patches of stains around.. and.. she has a LITTLE smell.. and her face was so oily when i get back my phone after her 3rd number, i dont wish to use my touch screen~ and i quickly fished out a piece of tissue paper (i regret for not bring wet tissue) to clean my touchscreen..

ok i'm bad to describe her this way..
but.. it bothers me lah~~ omg...

argh.. very weird loh~ all her numbers that she want me to dial, starts with 98xxxxxx... so coincidental? den.. she memorized and TELL me all the numbers by her own memory.. so i'm thinking, is she actually remembering the right number???

ahhhhhhh.. but okay.. i admit.. what bothers me more is her appearance..... i mean.. not about pretty or ugly (i'm not pretty anw, so i'm in no say).. but is about a female's appearance..

haha.. looking forward to IT Fair in september... anyone's going???

i want to find a printer.. my this printer is an old brand from HP i think.. but it is a very new printer cuz i just started using it last year.. it came as a free gift when my dad's company buy new computers.. i personally like HP printers.. but this printer is abit slow and the ink uses quite fast.. because it prints with v dark ink i think.. i mean.. the words are very clear and dark.. but i think it can be abit less dark to save some ink.. haha..

thus... i want a NEW printer!! but i dunno what printer is good.. my ideal printer:
1) fast
2) saves ink (don't "drink" ink)
3) cheap (especially for its ink)
4) preferably comes with colour printing (thus need not be laser printer)
5) haha!!! best is can print both sides itself.. but i believe such printer must be big in size and papers will easily get stucked

haha.. omg.. anyone has a printer that they are bery bery proud of it??? tell me~~

(PS: dont tell me that the best way is to go to school's library to print everything.. i hate queuing there before lessons to print notes and end up late in lecture... )

haha.. so sleepy for these 2 weeks.. most of the days in the week starts lesson at 10am.. means i have to wake up at 730am to prepare to go school.. haha.. and.. this semester's timetable sux because... at one glance, i have 4 days of lessons ending at 6pm! if not bothering about odd or even week lah.. omg.. siann...

i booked my driving test date!! not so soon.. but time flies.. WHO KNOWS?! soon~

hmmm recently am thinking of friends.. haha..

there are always friends that come and go.. for e.g. friends i've made in university.. not many.. but often we only see each other for 1 semester, and they disappear in the next semester.. haha.. really disappear de feel lo.. FASS not too big ba?! haha..

there are friends who remain for years.. haha.. from sec school, JC all the way till now.. though i've only lived for 20 years.. but.. i'm still glad that i've these groups of friends in my different stages of life.. =)

it is the last weekday before school starts next tuesday... haha... let me recap what i've done for these 3 months..

1) driving lessons.. (long long story to my driving.. but anyway.. i'm still having lessons)
2) swimming!!!
3) hang out in Jurong Point almost everyday...
4) steamboat with niu and jiang!!!
5) Singapore Flyers with Niu Jiang and Wenting!
6) Going out with Xinyi and Liyi more often that last year.. wahahaha...
7) COOKING at home... i tried different dishes that i can think in my tiny little brain.. and try figure out what ingredients i should put... like.. making shrimp dumplings myself when my mom doesnt know how to.. haha.. i'm going to make my own dumpling "skin" soon.. wahaha!!!
8) errr what else?

random stuffs...

1) haha.. went to jurong point today with jiang.. and both of us are crazy to spend lots of money on BOOKS! i bought the whole twilight series.. haha.. lol.. and she bought 4 (?) Harry Potter books.. haha... i think she's going to buy the remaining ones.. SOON.. haha..

2)errr... my dad received this letter today, regarding an accident that happened in 2007... this was wat happened in these 2 years..

someday in 2007.. the whole family was in our car, planning to enter AYE from the road outside my house.. at the filter lane, there was this car infront of ours.. the coming traffic was cleared but they didnt move.. but my dad didnt saw that they didnt move.. so he moved slowly to the front.. waiting for his turn to enter the expressway too.. in the end. *muacK*.. my dad's car "kissed" the car's backside.. okay.. i admit it is my dad's mistake of not driving carefully... so they settled among themselves since no one was hurt but only with their car backside dented in.. so my dad say okay they can claim his insurance (as usual what ppl will do)..

and this fine day, few months after the accident, my dad received a letter stating that that two women (I didnt know they were 2 women in the first place.. i thought they were 1 man 1 woman!!) wanted my dad to compensate their loss cuz they encounter whatever spinal pain or whatever shit after that accident.. and took many days' leave.. and want to sue my dad.. OMG!! ANGRY MAN! how hurt were they?? they still come out of their car and smoke there can!?! we regret for not taking down photos on that accident to prove how minor the accident was.. and why do they come and sue us only so many months later??!?!??! my dad was so angry and seeked help from my cousin's lawyer friend...

and now... the letter comes and says the case was disclosed.. but told my dad to drive with caution.. LOL!... everyone should be can imagine.. how slow the car is when it is in a filter lane, trying to enter another major road.. and my dad had already paid them for their car.. omg.. really meet 小人... 不男不女的小人！ arghh... b***t

3) my mom is super cute and funny!
one sunday when i was around the market. i saw this pregnant mommy wearing a top, and its design wrote this "I am not fat, I am pregnant".. i find this top so cute so i told my mom... den my mom actually replied me saying... she wants to design a similar top too.. but the words will change to "i am fat.. i am not pregnant"... HAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i laugh until crazy haha.......

went rebond today.. haha.. omg.. i did for 8 hours.. from 10am to 6pm.. haha...

my day started with an encounter with my new neighbour.. they are not singaporean.. this grandma is often seen around the neighbourhood, bringing her grandson out for stroll... so today.. i happened to be in the same lift as her...

so.. she's trying to ask her grandson how should he address me.. her grandson is v small. around 2 or 3 years old... den she says.. "叫阿姨~" i totally 3 lines there.. and say "叫姐姐就好，阿姨又点老" omg.....

so.. under this shock and 打击... i am determined to cut my fringe haha......... to make myself look younger.. but it looks weird to me right now haha..

it's father's day yesterday!!

haha.. went to IMM's crystal jade to try out their steamboat buffet.. haha... but.. abit scam de feell... haha...

firstly... the steamboat is $19.80 (for weekend)... so we will think that it should include everything... but NO... if u want prawns/some other seafood.. u have to order yourself and add on the price... what is a steamboat without prawns? den on the menu it wrote sth like promotion for live prawns.. $3.90 per 100g.. haha.. so we happily want to order... in the end the waitress says must order at least 300g.. er.. den why they dun just say $11.70 per 300g?

next.. because they serves what u order (and not those that u go grab urself)... they happily give u 10 sotong/crab/etc balls each kind.. dot... in the end.. of course we cant finish because they give so many each kind... so we left a plate of balls of each kind when we want to pay the bill.. de waitress come and say... "u cant finish we have to charge u $5"... dot.. angry nehx.. bring in a weighing machine and prove to me that i have to pay $5 k???? in the first place is they give us SOOOOOO many FROZEN balls......

argh.. angry...

but... their soup base is good...

they have many ingredients (if u are not particular about seafoods.. they have many kinds of steamboat ingredients)...

the live prawns (thou expensive)... is very fresh and sweet.. becuase the prawns' legs are still moving when we put into the soup.. HAHA..

nt so expensive ($16.90++ for weekday)... if u dont add seafood =)

tuesday:

went swimming in the morning with niu and jiang at clementi swimming complex.. haha... went there because jurong west swimming pool is closed on tuesday to change water.. haha.. so went there.. but i LOVE the olympic-size pool there.. haha.. very clear (that u can see the opposite and also where the floor goes down, even though i'm short-sighted.. haha).. first time i actually swim to and fro for 2 laps at one go.. haha.. shy... lousy i know..

den met shirlynn and peiwen for k box... hahaha... yay.. finally~~ woah.. enjoy ourselves wahaha... den had dinner tgt.. photos with shirlynnn.. i dun have.. sob~

today:

went tampines 1 with niU~ haha.. for shopping~ woah haha.. i find there nice to shop lehx hahaha.. especially it's weekday haha.. not many ppl but many places to shop.. haha

had our lunch in one bbq chicken korean restaurant.. haha.. the chicken is delicious~ hahaha.. chicken thigh, well marinated and good combination with the korean sauce.. hahah.. photos of the food... =)

Have been busy with driving these 2 weeks.. all the way till next week, I'll be having driving lessons on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.. haha.. very guai1 right??? haha.. requires much determination.. haha.. but not bad.. despite the high frequency of going BBDC every week, I dont feel bored or any dont-want-to-go feel.. haha.. not bad ma.. i thought i may develop this feel..

woah... exams had ended yesterday.. with my last paper of Chinese Phonetics.. hmm.. seriously i quite like the modules that I had this semester... Chinese Grammer, Chinese Phonetics, Chinese History, Translation (Eng --> Chinese) and Singapore Society.. I've always been trying to put at least one English module in each semester.. wahah.. So that I'm still writing English though i'm Chinese Language Major..

After my paper yesterday, stayed in school for lunch den finalise our Chinese phonetics project so that we can just print it out immediately in the library and hand in.. woah.. I thought it will take sometime.. but who knows.. we finished everything at around 1pm.. and.. jiang and i JUST in time for K BOX!!!!!! woahhhhhh wahahha

watched about this girl who likes chinese.. but yet she was being forced to drop higher chinese because her other subjects are not good..
first question: why should she drop the best subjects to save the weaker subjects?
second question: who can ensure that her weaker subjects will improve after she dropped HCL?
third question: is CL such a secondary subject in Singapore's education? a subject that u can sacrifice to save the other so-called-important subjects?

yea.. in order to land up in university taking chinese major, you have to pass your english at O level, pass your GP at A levels. If your GP grade is D and below, u have to take proviciency test.. how about Chinese then? A student who loves English can stay with English forever and successfully end up well.. but not a student who loves Chinese.. dot.. How many of you actually wrote your Chinese name in the past 1 year???

Yea.. i really think 华文落寞了.. Imagine, students now dont need to test on 填写汉字，造句，完成句子... and can bring in 电子词典 for composition.. As if the electronic dictionary helps when u don't even recognise which word to use, or rather when u don't even have vocabulary in your mind to make u search for the word to use.. haix..

华文老师是最最最最最最最最最最辛苦的老师了吧？if u are a devoted one who wants to improve the status of Chinese of course.. and not those who just want to 混口饭吃....

3 out of 5 papers finished.. seriously don't know what's the problem with me.. I've been going in to examination hall with blank mind with nothing inside my tiny little brain.. I think it is not so good that I have no mid-term exam at all in this semester, because I just cant get into exam mood. haix.. die..

haha.. there's this on-going heat on facebook on uploading primary school photos.. I really feel so glad that we dont own camera phones in those years.. haha.. Swine Flu affecting the whole world right now.. Makes me think of.. Will anyone actually wear a mask out if you are having a flu? haha.. that's the problem of Singaporeans ba.. If we wear one mask out, people will look at your with coloured spectacles as if you have some deadly illness or you are a pervert.. (dont say u wont... everyone will).. because we dont have culture.. but in Japan, it is very normal to see people wearing mask in trains.. that is being responsible to to society loh... In this sensitive and dangerour period of time, i really think that Singaporeans should be responsible for one another ba.. it is recess week!

therefore today went swimming with niu at clementi swimming pool, cuz jurong west one is closed on every tuesday for changing of water anyway.. haha.. dot.. weather no good.. like going to rain.. in the end our mood also not so there to swim.. only swimmed abit.. haha....

den we proceed to Jurong point for lunch! and we tried the korean restaurant.. haha.. seriously it is not bad a place lah.. haha.. price reasonable anyway.. 3 side dishes (regardless of how many ppl went).. and 1 cup of drink each person... wahaha.....

first time tried korean spicy rice cakes.. (ie both of us ordered 3 set lunches) and it is DELICIOUS de loh.. though we requested for less spicy since niu cant really eat spicy.. it tasted not spicy to me in the end.. tasted sweet.. but it is still nice afterall.. haha.. i love the chewy chewy texture.. omg.. so nice.. haha.. when we are thinking the bill to cost us over $30 altogether, it surprised us by only $23!! haha.. 3 sets.. okay lehx the price.. cheaper than going for pizza hut's set lunch too hahaha....

some person just irritates me VERY MUCH today.. argh.. that tutor/graduate came to our first tutorial class.. and shoot the first question to jiang and i, asking what are the topics that we would be discussing.. den jiang and i answered from 1 of the 2 reading materials that we are supposed to read.. den she asked "huh? 你从哪儿看到的？" in a super sarcastic way.. using her accent.. den jiang and i dont dare to answer cuz we are worried that we got the wrong book to print in the library.. but we got so discouraged u know~

at the end of the tutorial.. den we realise she didnt mention a TINY little thing from the reading material that we used to answer her question.. so after lesson, we waited for her and asked her is that reading material important.. den she said：“看看就忘了吧”in that accent AGAIN.. and she has that super irritating attitude okay?! like we ask her things.. she keep walking away from us.. shit her.. u are our tutor u should answer all our questions okay?!

den in her tutorial.. she grade our participation marks according to the right/wrong answer that we give her lah.. shit her..... participation mark shld be depend on how enthu we are bu shi mehx?! everytime teachers will say "just say what u think.. wrong nvm..".. but she grade us okay?! how i know? i see her drawing a CIRCLE beside jiang and my name.. and 2 TICKS beside a china student who answered her well.. DA BIAN~!!!!

start with CNY eve..

went for my reunion lunch with my paternal relatives.. this year.. no popo this year.. haix.. nvm.. we still treasure the reunion every year i hope.. simple stuffs.. since it's hard to really cook over there.. simple but the main purpose is reunion.. so.. what feast doesn't matter as much..

CNY Day 1

usual practice.. go to 3 temples and my maternal grandparents' house.. wah.. really got very uncomfortable with all the smoke from the joss sticks.. especially at the guanyin temple.. everybody "queue" (is squeeze actually) to get in.. den everyone buy BIG joss sticks from vendors outside the temple.. really dont understand their purpose, when the big joss stick becomes SHORT joss sticks when they reach the temple.. and they dun really get to cha(1) the joss stick cuz it's being taken away by their management.. haix.. 有心则灵啊~ 不是越大支越灵~ and the joss sticks are really dangerous cuz i saw ppl burning other's hair accidentally.. dont understand.. CNY.. u should hope to go and bai nian beautifully.. but one trip to guanyin temple.. it will destroy your nice set-up because everyone 争先恐后、大大支香.. dot.. buey tahan..

my relatives came over to my house for steamboat.. haha. had great time playing with my nephews.. haha.. it feels good to have so many of us together.. =)

back to school~

den after school.. went to m1 shop to sign a new plan.. don't want singtel liao.. bluff me de.. only first 500 sms is to all subscribers.. finally 2 years have passed.. so switched to m1.. hope it doesn't disappoint me... haha.... changed my phone to a PINK Samsung F480.. heehee.. happy happy.. with a pink phone =) so lady~

CNY Day 4

haha.. my mom's F480's leather casing is really hard to take out.. ran to samsung for help.. lol.. and didnt know that its service centre shifted to JP and no longer at toh guan (for mobile.. for other electrical appliances.. please proceed to toh guan road.. thank you =) ) dott.. den the person also have hard time taking it out okay? now can only go ahead without its casing first and wait for its spare parts to arrive..

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my F480!!!!!!! my fault actually.. to have put in the memory card in the wrong direction. and thus.. it got STUCK!!!!!!

CNY day 5

sent my F480 to hospital~ SOB! and the person say will be ready in 1 or 2 days.. jiang wished me good luck that they really settle it that fast.. haha.. cuz many ppl complained tt they took long time when she's working for samsung customer service.. haha.. so.. prayed hard that their service improved

haha went for wu tai ju - design for life 《华丽上班族之生活与生存》

yes! the one that zheng yuan chang acted in.. haha!!!! went for the 2.30pm slot.. that is the best slot.. cuz the whole show is for 200 mins.. so.. cant choose 8pm slot cuz it will end at almost 12pm i think.. dottt..

sat a bit far.. student concession ma.. what do u expect? haha.. but.. zheng yuan chang looks real shuai in office suit.. haha. SHUAI~ and he acted well i think..

his name in the show is called 李想（取自“理想”的谐音）.. a freshmen into the society.. into this big company.. his character should be somehow reflecting the current situation of how people abandon their dreams and join a company for the company itself.. and not their dreams.. just like when we are choosing JC, choosing university. are we entering the school cuz we like the NAME of the school? or for the subject that we feel that it will aid in our future career?

李想 died at the end as one of the character pulled him down.. yea.. our dreams are often pulled down by others.. someone with higher authority/power.. university rejecting you from the course u want.. and forcing us to get what we don't like.. company firing you from the job u love because of the financial crisis.. and for the 1 spoonful of rice for your family and you.. u had to choose any job that comes to u..

haha start to get emo.. but that was what i thought of when watching the whole wu tai ju lah..

wondering what i really remember most for my past 5 years.. think is those angry times ba.. till now i'm still dreaming of those.. i'm sure that is not because i still have the feel.. if i still have.. i shld dream of our happy times i think? but i find it so hard to recall.. i think those times are rather far from me now..

i admit there are happy times.. but it seemed not as 刻骨铭心 as those not happy ones.. maybe i'm not being appreciative..

it's CNY soon~ therefore many different kinds of shoppings to do lah..

for family.. went around searching for bedsheets for 2 days.. dot.. because our house is all super single beds (of course my parents' is not lah) with super single quilt..so we have to find for the super single quilt cover.. arghhh.. or else i see one i-super-love-it de design at IMM.. haix.. but no super single quilt cover.. nvm.. that is expensive anyway.. =x.. but still settled them at Robinsons..

den have to buy new year stuffs.. food.. praying stuffs.. Mandarin Oranges... those "orange" tree and 银柳.. wah super lots of stuffs to buy..

and i only settled my new year clothes yesterday.. at Jurong Point.. u really can't imagine how GREAT is JP... is not that i keep stucking at JP for so many years.. but so what if i go to Marina, bugis, orchard, etc etc places... they are such a DISAPPOINTMENT!!! arghhh..

on thursday, jiang and i actually went to Marina..hoping to get some good clothes there.. BUT!!! NOTHING~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ argh.. qi si wo.. those shops for youngsters are not even open at 12+.. the whole Marina is empty de lah.. argh.. go there eat yoshinoya only.. dott.. den nvm.. we went to clarke quay's The Central.. cuz it seems not bad from outside when my dad drove me past there.. den in the end.. also... attended the first basic theory lesson today.. dot.. slow and steadily.. hmmm but it was really bored.. haha.. but in that class there are a few boys (think younger than me? or around same age.. but i classify them as "boys" cuz i don't think their actions fit to be a man) who irritates me.. cuz there is a man who enter the class.. many of us are first timers.. so many ppl actually don't know that we have to print the slip for the lessons.. so did the man who entered.. den the few boys behind just laugh and say "bai chi"... hey... forgetting to print a slip of paper is being called bai chi.. your actions are fit to call REN ZHA okay? irritating.. no respect to others.. not like u look very clever or genius like that..

den when we were waiting for shuttle bus back.. there were this group of people.. maybe same age also? but one girl just start shouting at her friends like trying to fight... omg.. see so many rude people within a day.. argh..

went shopping these 2 days...

yesterday went bugis with niu.. bugis really fails me.. the last two times i go.. really nth to buy lah.. argh.. and one more irritating thing is.. most shops in bugis streets start to pull down their price but CANNOT try clothes... dot... even if your 身材是天生的衣架子, you will also want to try the clothes to see if the clothes is suitable for u or not ah.. like colour tone.. or even make sure that the clothes is not a weird cutting ah.. espeically in those place.. how can u guarantee that the clothes are proportional and not out of shape?

these shops also employ young girls around same age as us.. but some of them really attitude problems..there is one shop that we went in.. niu asked her whether can try this top.. den she say cannot.. den niu was talking to me.. saying if cannot try den dunno wear le nice or not.. that salesgirl just attitude us say "den u all go other shops to try loh"... LOL!.. niu and i just left that shop immediately lah.. ATTITUDE PROBLEM!

but i bought a shoulder bag there.. this shoulder bag really stunned me.. i see it and want to buy.. but i want to persuade myself not to buy.. so i tell niu.. if this bag less than $20 i will buy.. (cuz i predict it is around $29.90).. in the end the salesman say $15~!!!!!!! ahhhhhh... so... the story ended with me paying $15 to the shop loh~ lol~!!!

often see Japanese write down their wishes on such wooden blocks and hang on such shelves... this activity is actually called 绘马.. 绘=画/draw.. this is because in the past, Japanese have to tie a horse to the shelves to pray... but many poorer ppl cant afford to buy a horse.. so they started to draw horses to replace the real horse.. so this activity has now become 绘马.. clear explanation? hahah

outside the Meiji Shrine.. there are some groups of youngsters who are keen of cosplay... so they often dress up and stand around the area... cherngyew and jinrong actually went to ask a group if can take a photo of them.. haha.. and they gladly agreed..

den went on to shopping at Takeshita Dori.. hahaha.. all the way till the near evening..

den we went back to Shibuya.. Disney Shop.. cuz wanna buy some gifts and all.. so uncle philip brought us specially back to the disney shop.. and we rushed through cuz he had made reservation in one restaurant..

DISNEYSEA~ the one and only one in the world..
and u can see that much effort is put in disneysea... to be the one and only one...

the volcano inside happened to erupt when we reached there.. i thought what sound was it.. cuz i was walking with the volcano behind me.. hahaha... dott... looked very real.. =)

the sea parade.. great performance.. high standard..

tiah jye chen wanted to take this roller coaster ride.. so i agreed to queue with him.. despite the estimated waiting time stated was 130 minutes.. and we really waited this long i think..

Journey to the Centre of the Earth.. this ride goes this way:
we queued for hours.. and we reached this lift.. and we board the lift in groups.. suddenly the lift start moving and brought us to the centre of the earth.. the lift shake shake with loud bangs like we really went down to the centre of the earth.. and we reached a place where we queue for our roller coaster.. the roller coaster first bring us around the centre of the earth.. with monsters and fire demons around us.. den suddenly we are out of the place and a sudden steep slope freaked us out.. and it ended... (dot..i thought there will be more to come).. haha.. and then~ i came to realise their arrangement..

~~the lift that we took didnt bring us DOWN to the center of the earth.. but bring us UP to the middle of the volcano.. tt's why we took the slope down from the middle of the volcano.. haha.. dot.. but~~ afterall.. the effects and arrangment really made me feel realistic at the point of the ride.. GOOD...

wanted to wait for fireworks at 8.30pm.. but who knows... we waited till 8.20pm... there was this announcement annoucing that the fireworks is cancelled due to weather condition.. ARGH..

Overall.. disneyland and disneysea are places that everyone should visit.. the rides inside may be not as exciting as those in genting.. haha.. cuz the freefall isnt that tall, and it is indoor; roller coaster has only 1 slope.. but everything has very detailed arrangements and storylines, with much computer effects and stuffs like this.. makes ur queueing worthwhile.. haha..

started off the day with breakfast at uncle and auntie's house.. tried different kind of things.. like the 饭团、纳豆、温泉蛋 and some cereal that i really love.. hahaha.. bought a few packets back to singapore.. haha.. good good
温泉蛋: it is cold one.. cold half boiled egg.. we dont have to cook it.. just break open de egg and put in the sauce they provide.. nice.. my youngest bro likes it..

纳豆: haha.. tiah cherng yew put them in the bread.. fermentated (how to spell ah?) taste.. dont really like it.. thou i like kimchi..=x

yoghurt.. this yoghurt is very very smooth.. haha.. love it.. we bought alot back.. it was on promotion on the last night of our tour.. so we decide to buy more back hahaha...

den we went to Asakusa (issit spelt this way?).. there is one guanyin temple there.. and a very crowded street selling more cultural stuffs.. good place...

den we had our lunch at this place.. ate tempura don... is very delicious.. because at many places, the flour mixture that they dipped in to fry tempura is often very bland and very "flour".. but this one.. the flour mixture is fragrant and less greasy.. haha.. and the sauce for its don.. not salty.. delicious~

den we proceed to Ginza, a street full of branded shops and all..
we first arrived at this 歌舞伎院.. a place of performance by their cultural dance members.. and is all men.. we did not watch it lah anyway, not so interested and waste time.. hahaa...
we were taking photos there.. den suddenly a woman in kimono came to approach me to help her take photo on her camera.. haha.. den as a nice person, i agreed.. haha.. den i realised her camera is not digital camera.. haha.. den find it so weird to look through the small hole to take photo.. haha.. den after that.. my bro and i approached her to take a photo together.. haha.. the both of us had always wanted to approach one.. so.. WE DID IT! HAHA

it is very common to see japanese woman (regardless young or old) in kimono on the street or train.. because they often wear kimono to temples for praying or even attend formal occasions.. and they are really very beautiful and 端庄 in kimonos.. haha.. singaporeans shld learn to accept such traditional stuffss, instead of finding it wierd..

ok ginza~ full of branded shops.. and each brand will occupy one whole building.. of course.. didnt buy anything there.. is all burberry... gucci.... bla blablabla... A to Z...

this is some chiffon cake that japanese are crazy over.. this shop is full of customers.. but my auntie says it is just like our "kueh lapis".. layer by layer.. haha.. their marts sell too.. but maybe not as good as this shop since many ppl is queuing

entered a swatch shop.. it is a building of all watch brands.. and they have individual lifts to bring u to the specific shop.. this is the decoration of the lift of swatch.. full of swatch watches... dott.. hahaha

den the later part of the day... we didnt take photos cuz it started raining.. and all of us didnt wear enough clothings.. hahha........................ BRRRR~~~

my last post was in 2008 and now is 2009.. hmmm.. maybe i should keep my resolutions for 2009 and recaps for 2008 for next few posts ba.. shall talk about my japan trip first.. i've been back for almost a week le.. =x

Day 1

set off to changi airport early in the morning for ANA (All Nippon Airway) flight.

and took a few pictures in the airport.. christmas decorations and zi pai.. haha.. of course is i take de..

den we arrived at Japan's Narita Airport at around 4pm (Jap time).. and it was sunset already.. lol.. so fast... so according to instructions from uncle philip, we proceed to purchase our train ticket into Tokyo, Ueno.. haha

this train has 2 different kinds, one is 1000yen while another is more expensive.. its difference is that one is more comfortable than another.. haha.. so we purchased the 1000yen train tickets, and we happily board the train that we saw at platform.. HAHA... u know what's going happen next..

firstly, we board the last cabin, which permits smoking and we don't know!! omg.. it stinks.. anyway.. japanese smokers bring their own 烟灰缸 to smoke.. dott.. haha.. first time see that.. we changed to the next cabin and realise that the first and last cabin allow smoking while the others ban smoking.. omg..

second!! my brother realised that our train tickets look different from the other passengers!!!! haha.. and die.. the train officer came and check and realise.. we board the WRONG train! we board de comfortable one.. hey... how i know that is comfortable one since i didnt see the less comfortable train to compare.. haha.. lol.. so we "chicken and duck talk" one round.. and settled by paying the balance.. haha.. super funny okay? so xia suay... thought will kena throw out of train.. hai hao japanese are well-mannered and patient.. haha.. phew..

and set off for dinner~ and we walked to the downtown of roppongi..

roppongi was one of the earliest shopping district in tokyo.. till now it's still very crowded with people and nightlife..

monday:

went k box with shirlynn and peiwen~ hahaha.... woah... nice nice.. took many photos lah.. but i couldnt get hold of them yet.. haha.. shirlynn sent halfway but she need to go~ (shirlynn send me again one day okay?! ) hahaa.. if not.. can go shirlynn or peiwen's blog to see see our photos.. hahaha... we really take quite many photos i think..

k box upgrade sia~! last time they will come in and say "last song".. den we will sure drag.. but now they upgrade~they computerise and the screen will flash "stop order received.....".. haha.. den we cannot play our songs le!!!!!!!!!! wah!!!!!!!!! upgrade leh~

den we went to jp and walk walk~ haha.. and had our dinner at the benten cafe.. not bad de eating place nehx.. haha

tuesday:

went badminton with niu jiang and wenting~!! haha.. healthy day... 2 hours of playing.. but really tiring nehx~ haha.. sounds so healthy right???? butttttt...................

we go for japanese buffet after that!!!!!!! omg.. and we really eat ALOT~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha.... first time that the 4 of us eat japanese buffet tgt lehx... jc times, there were only niu and i interested haha.. good good.. HAPPY!

hmmm back to yuhua sec.. cuz my brother got into there.. yea? dottt.. hmmm.. how i missed those times.. saw some students around.. happy to see them... oh yea.. they changed uniform... but bit not used to it.. haha.. the colour looks bit dirty dirty de.. haha.. x=... should be because i not used to seeing the new colour... haha...

recall what i've done this week ba~

tuesday went k box with shirlynn and eileen.. haha.. first time with eileen~ and of course not first time with shirlynn lah~ hahaha... dot.. i'm really singing almost every week.. haha.. next monday going with shirlynn and peiwen again~ dot... wahahha...

wednesday went swimming with niu! ahhaha.. omg i could not recall when was the last time i exercised.. since i dunnid to take PC (PE lesson) in JJ.. haha.. but i really MUCH MUCH prefer swimming than running... not so hot and sweaty.. yet can exercise the whole body.. agree? haha.. went to the Jurong west swimming complex (is it?) haha.. nice swimming place.. has a pool that stretches from 0.9m to 1.2m.. ideal for me.. haha.. so i can stop anywhere in between.. if not everytime in olympic pool.. i have to stick to the side so that i can grasp my breathe at the side.. if not i will drown in the 1.8m part le lah~ haha..
den we went to JP and meet jiang for lunch~ woah~ JP extension OPEN LE~ hahah.. nice place to shop.. so many shops.. and quite a number sells korean small stuffs.. and we spent at the shop called ARTBOX.. cute place with lots of notebooks and organisers.. i can predict a huge sum of money will flow from my pocket into that shop.

thursday stayed at home..

friday went swimming agaiN~! haha.. not bad not bad.. haha... this time saw a group of aunties learning swimming there.. haha.. den i thought of my mama hahha.. cuz dunno why no matter how she kick water.. she just remain within the area of x square cm.. haha.. she shld join such classes.. haha... den one auntie v funny... she swim towards me from my left.. den when she reached my front, she started to U-TURN.. haha.. den i couldnt stop my laughter than i have to stand up from my swim and start laughing HAHA~ quite DOT to see someone U-turn-ing in front of u lah haha.... dottt.... den went JP to meet jiang and wenting.. shop shop~

next week going to continue my exercise... badminton with niu jiang and wenting.. woah.. want to swim..but need to do rebonding le.. before i go japan.. i dont want to take photos in japan with my current hair ok?! spoil everythingggg...

swimming pool water really harms our hair okay?????? especially when my hair has so much split ends now... arghhhhhh CUT CUT CUT!!!!!!!

it was 06L02 gathering ytd.. haha.. to be exact.. should be some friends meet-up instead ba haha..er.. 5 of us turned up (as what i guessed).. yilong, konglim, tingyun, jiang and i..

jiang and i went to marina sq earlier to shop..haha in the end only i bought things lah.. omg i'm like spending like nobody's business like that.. wed just went marina sq with niu and wenting and spent some money.. ytd again.. woah.. and i bought the pair of shoes that i saw on wed.. and i suddenly find it a MUST buy shoes.. dott so i bought.. worth it lah.. not v ex since it's on offer.. and that was the last pair for my size!!! woah..~ big shoes..

den i bought a vest to wear with my shirts.. haha.. i have always wanted to get one.. and i accidentally saw on hanging right beside my legs when i'm standing in one shop.. and i fell in love with it lah.. that was super fast cuz that was just the first few shops that i went to.. arghhhh... haha.. very simple one.. but i love it.. decided to buy it after walking one whole round.. 千金难买心头好啊~~~~！

jiang wants to buy one too.. but the pattern isnt what she likes.. nvm.. lets go other places one day..

den met up with the other 3 of them and went to hotpot culture for dinner.. haha.. errrr... bit disappointing.. all that i like is the chocolate fondue but there is no enough fruits for us.. arghhh.. feel like having one at home myself.. haha.. will be even more shuang..

errr den dunno where to go next.. den kl they suggested on going pubs or clubs.. so.. i suggest go chijmes loh.. nearest.. den go find my dear jiaqi haha.. had a cocktail and left soon.. dottt.. arghhh when can i stay out as late as i want to??? haix... cabbed home....................

errrr.... hoping to have better gatherings lehx... some classmates maybe not informed cuz didn't know that yilong didnt have your numbers~ nvm nvm.. next time we will pass around~~~~~ haha... hope next time better... have one soon again ba~~~
